In a baby castle, just beyond my eye
My baby plays with angel toys that money cannot buy.
Who am I to wish her back into this world of strife?
No, play on my baby, for you have eternal life.
At night when all is silent and sleep forsakes my eyes,
I'll hear her tiny footsteps come running to my side.
Her little hands caress me so tenderly and sweet,
I'll breathe a prayer and close my eyes and embrace her in my sleep.
Now, I have a treasure I rate above all other,
For I have known true glory ~ I am still her mother.

We are connected together, my Teri and i,
by an invisable cord not seen by the eye.

It's not like the cord connected till birth,
It cannot be seen by any on earth.
This cord does it's work right from the start,
it binds us together direct from the heart.
I know that it's there, though no-one can see,
the invisable cord from Teri to me.

The strength of this cord is hard to describe,
it can't be destroyed, it can't be denied.
It's stronger than any cord man could create,
it withstands the tests can hold any weight.
And though you are gone, not here with me,
the cord is still there though no-one can see.

It pulls at my heart, I am bruised i am sore, but this cord is my lifeline as never before.

I am so thankful that we are connected this way, a mother and child we will always stay.
